Join Jonathan as he meets up with Rod Roddenberry, the son of the legendary Gene Roddenberry, creator of the Star Trek franchise. 

Travel with Jon and his USS Angeles fan club as they tour the ‘sacred sites’ of Star Trek in the Los Angeles area, and take a peak at Jon’s massive collection of Star Trek comic books and toys from his childhood.

From California, “Trek” over to Indiana and meet James Jackson, an avid Star Trek plate collector and the Captain of the largest Star Trek fan club in North America. 

Star Trek inspired James to succeed while growing up in the ghettos. Thanks to Star Trek, James is living his dream and influencing future generations with his work as an art teacher. 

Today this fan club does charity work of all kinds and has raised thousands of dollars in its 20 year existence. Travel with James to his old neighborhood as he recalls the life he once had and reflects on how far he’s come thanks to Star Trek.  Watch as James and his fan club host a Star Trek themed charity event, and tour James’ massive plate collection.
