Few shows can claim the cultural significance of Queer as Folk.

Fanatical takes you to a small town in the remote interior of British Columbia to visit accountant Elsa Rose Bryant and her husband Bob.  Inspired by her love of the series, Elsa has raised over $33,000 through her “Queer as Fans” Conventions for the HIV/AIDS care centre Casey House. 

A proud parent to gay son Robert, she also has dozens of surrogate sons and daughters who she’s counseled through difficult times.  

From small town B.C. travel to the hustle and bustle of the Gay Village in downtown T.O.  Meet 24 year old photographer and fashion design student Leonardo Zuñiga. 

Originally from a small town in Mexico, Leo moved to Toronto two years ago to live the lifestyle he saw depicted in the series.   

Today Leo plays a key role in queer awareness through his work for SOY, ‘Supporting Our Youth’ – a queer organization that supports immigrants to Toronto.
