In this episode we stop by San Diego, California and visit Louie Knaiger, the President of the Gilligan’s Island Fan Club.  Better known to his family and friends as Willy Gilligan, this cable repair man has a massive memorabilia collection – complete with everything from a 16mm print of the show, to sand from the beach where the original series was shot! 

Married with two young children, Louie likes to dress his kids in Gilligan’s themed costumes, and uses the show as a way to bond with them.   Watch as Louie uses Gilligan to bring parents and children together for a coconut pie eating contest. 

Travel up the coast to the Northern shores of British Columbia, and meet Gilligan’s fanatic and 12th grade high school student Amanda Stepto. 

Amanda launches her first day back to school for her final year dressed as Gilligan, proudly expressing her fandom. Watch as Amanda goes head to head in a Gilligan’s trivia battle with a friend, and throws a Gilligan’s Island back to school costume party for all of her friends.
