PREHISTORIC PALS

Embark on a Stone Age adventure as Fanatical takes you to visit 2 die hard Flintstones fans.

First stop, Sherman Oaks, California to and the home of 54-year-old cartoonist Scott Shaw.  When Scott saw his first episode of the Flintstones at the age of 9, he had no idea that it would launch the career of his dreams.

As an adult, Scott landed a job with Hanna-Barbera as a character designer for ‘The New Fred and Barney Show’, and went on to design many of the Flintstones marketing materials used in print ads, books, and magazines.

A fan with fans of his own, we travel with Shaw to the San Diego Comic Convention where he autographs memorabilia for his devoted followers.

From there, journey to Newmarket, Ontario and visit Flintstones mega fan Mary Tuomisto.  Watch as this daring mother takes the leap and gets a long wanted Fred Flintstone tattoo!

Inspired by her love of Flintstones,  Mary’s fandom bring the community together as she hosts a Flintstones costume and pumpkin carving competition for charity.
